Red Light Conversations: Wrath vs. Peace

Some spaces can't hold two things at once. In a garden, in a heart, in a business, what you make room for decides what grows.

And maybe that's the real issue.

We've convinced ourselves that we can hold on to wrath and still walk in peace.

But peace and wrath cannot occupy the same space.

One is always pushing the other out.

Wrath keeps score.

Peace releases the debt.

Wrath replays the offense.

Peace looks toward restoration.

Wrath demands payment.

Peace seeks healing.

You can choose accountability.

You can choose wisdom.

You can choose boundaries.

But eventually, if you want peace, wrath has to go.

Because peace isn't something you find while carrying wrath.

Peace is what grows after wrath leaves.

Something to think about.
